Dr. Marissa Gallan, Au.D.
Managing Audiologist
Dr. Marissa Gallan, a native New Englander, earned her bachelor’s in communication sciences and disorders at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and her doctorate in audiology from the MGH Institute of Health Professions, where she received the 2025 Outstanding Leader Award.
As part of her doctoral training, she completed a comprehensive hearing and balance externship at VA Boston Medical Center and rotations at major medical centers, including Mass Eye and Ear, Tufts Medical Center and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, as well as smaller private practices and ENT clinics.
While she enjoys all aspects of audiological care, Dr. Gallan has a special interest in cochlear implants and tinnitus management. Providing quality care that follows medical best practices and prioritizes each patient’s unique treatment needs is a priority for her.
Dr. Gallan is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the American Academy of Audiology, for which she was selected to present research at the organization’s 2025 and 2026 conferences.
